Gaming cabinet fabrication is the sheet metal and welding work behind slot machines, kiosks, and cabinet structures on the casino floor — the formed cabinets, welded tube frames, decorative panels, and sub-assemblies a gaming OEM builds its electronics into. What do we build for gaming programs?
Gaming hardware pulls on the full fabrication stack at once — forming, welding, hardware insertion, and finishing — on parts that combine structural strength with a cosmetic, customer-facing surface. Across a program we fabricate:
- Slot machine cabinet assemblies. Formed and welded cabinets built to the OEM’s print, cosmetic face included.
- Kiosk cabinets and shells. Formed enclosures for self-service and player-facing kiosk hardware.
- Bill validator sub-assemblies. Precision-formed chambers and brackets for currency-handling modules.
- Tube-welded base frames. Structural base and support frames welded from round or square tube.
- Decorative metal panel assemblies. Cosmetic panels finished to a casino-floor standard.
- Bonus-wheel structural frames. Welded structural supports for mechanical bonus features.
How do you hold consistency across a multi-thousand-unit run?
Program-locked tooling and robotic welding with WPS-controlled parameters hold a run identical from the first cabinet to the last. Every job opens with a documented first-article inspection against the customer’s print; once the program locks, we sample-inspect every 25 to 50 units against that first-article baseline for the balance of the run, on our press brake and welding cells alike. Weld procedures follow AWS D1.1 for steel and D1.2 for aluminum, with WPS and PQR documentation available on request, and bend angle on the frame and panel work holds to our standard ±0.5° with ±0.1 mm bend position — tight enough that a cabinet built in week one of a run and week fifty look and fit identically.
Do you handle serialization and tamper-evident sealing?
Yes, on request. Lot serialization is standard on gaming programs, tied to lot traceability through a MIE Trak Pro ERP. Tamper-evident sealing of compliance-critical sub-assemblies — a bill validator chamber, for example — is available where the OEM’s design calls for it; we build to that seal spec, we do not certify the tamper-evidence itself.
Which materials and finishes go on a casino floor?
Cabinet panels and decorative metal run in cold-rolled and stainless steel, powder coated in-house on a 24-hour turn with 40-plus standard colors stocked; natural or brushed finish is available where a stainless decorative panel is meant to show bare metal. Hardware insertion — PEM self-clinching nuts, standoffs, and captive screws — happens in the same assembly cell that builds the cabinet, so a panel goes from coated blank to hardware-ready part without leaving the floor. We do not run titanium, exotic alloys, or armor-plate material on this floor; cabinet and frame work stays within our standard steel, stainless, and aluminum stack.
Assembly, kitting, and shipping to the pallet
Cabinet build-out, panel and hardware installation, and kitting happen in our four assembly bays, with 100% functional test on electro-mechanical sub-assemblies — bill validator assemblies included — before packout. Daily packout capacity runs 300 to 500 units, serialized and palletized ready to ship, so what leaves the dock is a finished cabinet, not a box of parts for someone else to assemble.
Where fabrication stops — compliance and the electronics inside
We fabricate the cabinet, frame, and panel assemblies to the OEM’s design; the electronics, the software, and the gaming compliance certification and regulatory approval that put a machine on a casino floor stay with the OEM. We also do not install, service, or warranty the finished machine once it leaves our dock — that responsibility, like the compliance submission, stays with the OEM. That boundary is deliberate — a build-to-print fabricator that also chased compliance certification would be competing with the customers it serves instead of supplying them.
