Transit & Infrastructure

Transit shelters, weatherized enclosures, smart-city furniture, and trackside cabinets — formed, welded, and powder-coated. Buy America compliant, US-made.

Transit & Infrastructure

Buy America / domestic content: yes. Every part is cut, formed, welded, and finished in our Las Vegas facility — US-made, with country-of-origin documentation for federally funded transit and infrastructure programs.

Transit and infrastructure is a natural fit for our stack: structural tube and sheet, code-procedure welding, and weatherized powder coat — all under one roof. For the structural tube members at the heart of a shelter or canopy, our co-located fiber tube laser cuts copes, miters, and mounting holes in a single operation, so frames arrive at the weld cell ready to fixture.

Applications

What we fabricate for transit & infrastructure customers.

  • Bus and rail transit shelters, canopies, and platform railings
  • Structural tube and post frames with glazing channels
  • EV-charging pedestals and weatherized NEMA-rated enclosures
  • Smart-city street furniture, info kiosks, and fare/validator housings
  • Trackside and roadside equipment cabinets and grid/utility enclosures
  • ADA platform components and wayfinding/signage structures

Frequently asked questions

Is your transit and infrastructure work Buy America compliant?
Yes. All fabrication is performed in our Las Vegas, Nevada facility — cut, formed, welded, and finished domestically — so parts can meet Buy America and domestic-content requirements common to federally funded (FTA/DOT) transit and infrastructure programs. We supply material certification and country-of-origin documentation per program.
What transit shelter components do you fabricate?
Structural tube and post frames, canopy and roof panels, glazing-channel frames, platform railings, and the brackets that tie them together. Tube members are cut on our co-located fiber tube laser; forming, welding, and powder coat finish the assembly under one PO.
Can you build weatherized outdoor enclosures for EV charging and equipment?
Yes — NEMA 3R/4/4X-style enclosures with sealed-seam welding, gasket-channel formed lips, and powder coat over zinc primer for outdoor corrosion service. We design to MIL-STD-810 environmental methods — temperature, water-ingress, vibration — where a program calls for it.
Do you do the structural welding for shelters and canopies?
We weld to AWS D1.1 (structural steel) and D1.2 (aluminum) procedures, WPS-controlled and documented. Our welders are qualified to these procedures, and weld documentation is provided per program.
What finish do you use for outdoor corrosion resistance?
In-house powder coat over zinc primer is standard for outdoor transit hardware, with RAL and Pantone color matching to agency color standards. Hot-dip galvanizing and specialty coatings are available through partners we manage as program lead.
What volumes and lead times do you handle for an agency rollout?
Production runs from a single prototype shelter through 50,000-unit programs, with Kanban/JIT release for staged rollouts. We hold staging inventory for committed programs and ship nationwide.
